Hi guys!!! Hope you're doing swell.....okay, firstly, I would like to congratulate my beloved country, Malaysia, for its 53rd Independence. May the future hold more brighter for us all...^^

Secondly, I want  to apologize for the lack of 'writing' in this blog, not too much information given out instead of  just a single image in every post. Hmm, I don't have many excuse for that really, just that I kinda on tight schedule for most of the time in my weeks, hence I didn't feel really compelled to write anything. I'm not the type of person who let the art do the talking that much, cos I definitely want to share everything about it, such as my thoughts on overall process, why I did that piece, what medium did i use...you know, the usual stuff people explaining about their works, but each time I want to do that, I tend to get lazy and not said a word...haishh...

Anyway, maybe after this I will try to share something (at least) if not everything about my future drawing or whatever, cos I kinda feel that I lose the basic idea of having a blog. Don't worry, even if you guys don't read it, I wont hold a grudge...woohoo...hihi

Last but not least....(hmm, what is it? .......Snap, I forgot.....).......oh ya, I'f you haven't noticed already, I had setup another blog titled "The Daily Sketches of Sammy" last weekend, and as stated, the blog is all about my sketches or probably you can see most of my random doodles over there. The reason I created that blog is just for hooking up all my daily sketches or the 'innocent' art that drew for my warm ups and studies. Well, before this, all of that will probably never see the daylight and I think that blog is a good place to put them as a gallery. Simply put, all the crap that I've done will end up over there...hahaha.....Ohkayy, so go check them out, and I guarantee you guys will love it! And make sure you bookmark, follow, save as page, or whatever, cos you never know what you're gonna see up there... ^^;

Stormtrooper Quick Sketch

Urm, by now you guys probably knew that I'm a big, nerdy, geeky Star Wars fan. Tho I think the latter triology is a little bit 'cheezy', but the art is absolutely superb. And the idea of three more sequel after The Return Of The Jedi story, I say, bring it on...haha...

Grifter With One Big Bazooka Sketch

Huah....I'm still in CNY holiday mood. So this is the only piece that I can came out over the weekend (I'm such a loser didnt I?...huhu ). Anyway during those period, I've also racking up my head solving the horrible 'wacom lagging' problem in Photoshop CS4  + Windows 7 OS.

Fudge, I really hate this lagging problem...however i think this is a common problem to whoever upgrading their OS to Windows 7, eventho they have a top notch performance computer, still, the lagging happened. The funny thing is, it only appear in Photoshop. (it runs well in Painter, SAI and Flash). And since I do all my sketch and lineart in PS, this thing really bugging me to death!  

AHHH.......WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO ME?!!!! *sob sob...

Phew...okay...emo aside, this is the sketch that I did concurrently with the lagging PS hazzard...even it is just a sketch, it's not that half bad I think. And I guess I should be thankful for whatever happened to me  at the moment and not taking anything for granted... ^_^

Allrighty, if you guys a nice solution to my problem, do drop a shout okay? Really appreciate it...bye! :)

I cannot believe I'll be doing another green monster...sigh...No, I'm not high on chlorophyll if  that's what you think, it just this is for art battle in a local forum. Just a coincidence they picked this beast so I'm on it. Anyway, tried to play with some anatomy, hope I got it right. Will color this cell shaded style, clean and crisp...^_^ Stay tune okay?

Random Pencil Work Of The Day...(3)

Hi guys,

Hope youre doing well with everyday life. As for me, I'm still trying to find my way into this life, hoping they will be kind to me in every aspect.
Anyway, for the past couple of weeks, you guys probably aware that I've been playing with my Wacom, tweaking, testing, collaborating, trying to capture the fundamental feeling of it (and to be honest, I'm doing quite well with it...thank god!), but somehow I missed drawing using pencils on a real paper. So, being a paranoid I am, afraid that my moderate 'traditional' drawing skills might lost in the abyss for eternity, I grabbed my sketchbook and did this...





Tell me I'm not paranoid will ya? ^_^
